Yule Love the Blissfield Yuletide 5K

The Blissfield Yuletide 5K is run on the Saturday morning of a three-day holiday festival that fills downtown Blissfield, in southeast Michigan, with Santa's arrival, carriage rides, craft stalls and music. Runners gather in the red tent top at the corner of Lane Street and Jefferson Street, just off U.S. 223, where registration opens at 9 a.m. The route covers the streets of the charming, festively decorated village, and holiday costumes are encouraged, with a prize awarded for the best one. Every runner receives a Christmas ornament, an insulated mug of coffee or hot cocoa, water and a banana, and the event raises funds for the Miss River Raisin Scholarship Program. Parking lots sit on North Lane across from the Historic Depot, behind the main block of Lane Street on both sides, and in open street areas around the community.
