The race takes place in Kalety in the Silesian Voivodeship, starting and finishing near the shelter by the upper reservoir in Zielona on 11 November, Poland's Independence Day. The registration office opens from 10:00 to 12:30 at the same shelter, so runners can collect their numbers before the start. Entry is free of charge, and the main distance is roughly 11 kilometres. The event is organised jointly by the City of Kalety and local running associations, and it draws runners from across the region.
