The XI Toyota New Year's Eve Run is staged in Jelcz-Laskowice on 31 December, closing the sporting year with a 10 km road race, a 5 km road race and a 5 km Nordic walking march. Both running distances hold a PZLA certificate, so the courses are measured and the results count towards official Polish athletics records. Runners collect their numbers at the Centrum Sportu i Rekreacji, either on the evening before the race or on race morning, and entry is capped, with 910 places still free at the time of writing. KB Harcownik Jelcz-Laskowice organises the event together with the municipality and the local Toyota plant.
