Other questions
Check-in details are TBC, but typically you will collect your bib and attend a mandatory briefing before the first loop. The backyard ultra format means all runners start together at the top of each hour. If you are not on the start line when the next loop begins, you are eliminated. Arrive early for check-in and listen carefully to the race briefing for any specific rules.
There is no traditional finish line. Runners continue completing the 5 km loop within each hour until only one runner remains. That final runner must complete one more loop alone to be declared the winner. You finish when you can no longer start a loop within the time limit. Expect a low-key, last-person-standing conclusion rather than a mass finish.
