The Woodinville Turkey Trot is a Thanksgiving morning tradition in downtown Woodinville, Washington, now in its seventh year. The day opens with a colourful Kids Parade led by the Woodinville HS Marching Band, followed by a 200-yard Kids Dash for younger runners. The main 5K Run/Walk sets off from Wilmot Gateway Park at 9:00 AM on paved park and town paths, with a virtual 5K option for those running elsewhere and a month-long 3000 Calorie Challenge for anyone wanting a bigger goal. The event is hosted by Woodinville Running Company, and proceeds support the Woodinville HS Boosters Wrestling Team.
