Ventotene Run4EU takes runners around one of the most striking islands in the Mediterranean, with the course passing through the port and the historic village and threading the lanes and stairways that connect them. The route also touches the Cala Nave beach, a sea cave and the tufa cliffs, with views towards Ponza, Zannone, Ischia and the promontory of Naples. Three distances make up the day: an 11K run over two panoramic laps with an urban trail feel, a quick 6K Sprint and a 3.5K Family Run that is untimed and open to everyone. The event falls on one of the last sea weekends of the year, and entries are limited.

Other questions
Yes, the organiser states that places are limited. It is worth entering as early as possible, not least because the island is small and race weekend draws a lot of visitors.
Ventotene is reached by ferry or hydrofoil from mainland ports, most commonly Formia and Anzio, with seasonal connections from other ports in Lazio and Campania. Booking foot passenger tickets in advance is sensible, and it is worth checking the latest timetable with the ferry operator before you travel.
The official event website publishes the regulations as PDF files: one for the competitive race, one for the non-competitive event and one for the Ventotene Kids Run.
