The UrY. Anniversary Run brings the local running community together at West Park in Bognor Regis for a relaxed morning on the seafront. Participants gather at the West Park car park or around the field before setting off together on a roughly 5 km route, about 3 km out along the promenade and 2 km back, finishing at Coastal Coffee. The ground underfoot is flat paved promenade and park path, and the pace is social rather than competitive, with no timing or results. Afterwards there is a raffle with prizes supported by Exeo Athletics, MileOff and Goodwood, plus free UrY. socks, electrolyte sachets, magnesium water, Mr Whippy ice cream and coffee. The first 30 people to register also receive an UrY. anniversary goodie bag.

Other questions
No. It is a relaxed, untimed community run. There are no chips, no results and no placings, and the emphasis is on moving together and marking UrY.'s two year anniversary.
No. The group sets off together and runs at a social, conversational pace, so newcomers and slower runners are just as welcome as regulars.
No specific weather policy is published. As the route follows an exposed seafront promenade, check the event page for any last minute updates if conditions look rough.
