Other questions
Yes. The relay splits the full marathon course into four legs of roughly 9 km, 12 km, 13 km and 8 km, with exchanges at Sunnerstastugan, Hamnplan and the King's Mounds in Old Uppsala. One entry covers the whole team.
The route mixes asphalt with hard-packed gravel. The early part of the marathon runs through parkland and along the rivers, while the later kilometres are mostly on city streets and paths.
Uppsala blends medieval heritage with a lively student atmosphere. The cathedral, the historic university quarter, the castle, the Botanical Garden and the riverside paths are all close to the course, and the city's cafés are ideal for a traditional fika.
