The Up-N-Over is a Halloween trail run that starts in North Ogden, climbs over the North Ogden Divide and finishes in Liberty in the Ogden Valley. The point-to-point course covers 10K, or 6.2 miles, with about 1,440 feet of climbing and 1,117 feet of descent on scenic trails. A single aid station sits at the top of the divide, and the finish at Liberty Park brings food, music, awards and a costume contest. Runners and walkers of every level take part, and the race goes ahead rain or shine.

We encourage you to bring your family along for the fun. They can send you off at the start line and come to the finish for goodies. However, if you need a shuttle, one is available for $10 and leaves every 45 minutes.

Yes. Runners and walkers of every level are welcome, so you can take the divide at whatever pace suits you.
Costumes are not required, but they are very much part of the day. There are best costume awards for men and women.
The route follows mountain trails over the North Ogden Divide, so trail shoes with grip are a sensible choice for the climb and descent.
