Distance
Terrain
Une Voie pour Elles takes over the streets of Vernon, a town on the Seine in the Eure department of Normandy, on Sunday 18 October 2026. Runners can choose a 10 km or a 5 km course, while walkers have their own options over the same distances, including a Nordic walking route, a walk reserved for women and a walk open to everyone. The programme mixes running with walking so that the day suits anyone who wants to take part at their own pace, and the course and walk are not chip timed. Entries are handled through the HelloAsso page of the Comité Départemental Olympique et Sportif 27, the departmental sports committee that organises the event.

Other questions
Yes. The 10 km Marche Pour Femmes is a walk reserved for women, which is very much in keeping with the spirit of the event, whose name means a path for them.
Yes. Walking options are offered over both the 5 km and the 10 km distances, including a Nordic walking route, so the day is open to people who prefer to walk at their own pace.
The organisers publish the latest details, including start times, bib collection arrangements and any changes, on their HelloAsso event page. Always check that page in the days before the event rather than relying on calendar listings.
Road events in Normandy generally go ahead in rain and wind. Any decision to cancel, shorten or alter a route would be communicated by the organisers on their HelloAsso page, so check it on the morning of the event.
