The Umm Al Quwain Half Marathon sets off at 6:00 am on Sunday, 10 January 2027, when the Gulf coast of the United Arab Emirates is still cool and quiet. The route runs on paved roads through the emirate, past waterfront development and the older quarters of the city, on ground that stays flat and forgiving underfoot. Entry covers chip timing, a finisher medal, a t-shirt, a goody bag, live results and a photo service, with refreshments waiting once runners cross the line. Registration closes on 8 January 2027, or earlier if places sell out.

The 06:00 am start in January lets runners cover the whole course before the daytime heat builds along the Gulf coast.
Arrive with enough time before the 06:00 am start to collect your race pack and warm up. The organiser advises checking the Event Information section or contacting them directly for the recommended arrival time.
