As part of the UTMB World Series, this 66.4km race features 3,348m of elevation gain and must be completed within 20 hours. The race starts at Waterfront City Pangururan and passes through 7 aid stations along the scenic route.

Finishers of the Ultimate Expedition 60K will receive 2 Running Stones as it is a UTMB World Series 50K Event.
Top 3 Overall male and female finishers automatically qualify for the corresponding category at the 2027 UTMB Finals. Note that these slots are not free - athletes will have to sign up but they have direct entry and do not need to ballot.
The first finisher is expected around 8 hours 15 minutes (15:15 on Saturday), and the final finisher must complete within 20 hours (02:00 on Sunday).
The course has a total elevation gain of 3,348 meters over 66.4 kilometers.
