Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk - Preston, GA

Packet pickup takes place at Centerpoint Schoolhouse. You’ll collect your bib, timing chip (if applicable), and event shirt. On race morning, arrive early to allow time for parking, pickup (if you didn’t get it earlier), and a warm-up. There is usually a brief ceremony honoring Stephen Siller and first responders before the start. The 5K starts and finishes in Preston, so plan to stay for the finish line atmosphere.

The event may not offer a formal bag check. It’s best to leave valuables at home or with a spectator. If you drive, you can keep items in your car. Centerpoint Schoolhouse may have a designated area for gear, but space is limited and not guaranteed. Carry only what you need for the 5K, such as a phone, key, or small water bottle.

The event typically has medical volunteers, EMTs, and an ambulance on standby at the start/finish and along the course. Aid stations can contact medical support if needed. The course is marked with signs, cones, and volunteers to keep you on route. In an emergency, alert the nearest volunteer or call 911. Wear a road ID or carry identification and any necessary medications.
