Carn Runners stage this Cornish road race each January, with the 2027 edition starting and finishing at Camborne Science and International Academy on Cranberry Road. The 12 kilometre route runs on road around Camborne and is described by the organisers as fast as well as scenic, drawing more than 600 runners and a good crowd of local supporters. The event began life in 1998 as the Blaythorne 10 with 80 runners, spent many years as the Storm Force 10 over ten miles, and was relaunched as the Trevithick 12k in 2026. It opens the Cornish Grand Prix road racing series and is the highlight of the club's year, with a bespoke medal for every finisher and an optional long sleeved technical shirt for entrants who sign up before 1 December. Start time is 09:30.

No. There are two entry prices: a lower one for runners who are affiliated to a club through ARC or UKA, and a standard price for everyone else.
Entries are handled through the SiEntries online entry system, which confirms your place once your entry and payment have gone through.
Yes. A long sleeved technical shirt is offered as an optional purchase, but only for entries placed before 1 December. After that date the shirt can no longer be added to your entry.
The organisers describe the route as fast as well as scenic, so it suits runners looking for a quick time, although a January race date means the weather can always have a say.
