The Travellers 6 is a single-lap rural road race of approximately six miles that starts and finishes at the Pie Hall in Denby Dale, West Yorkshire. The organisers describe the course as undulating, a rolling route on country roads that is not built for personal bests but is enjoyed for its character and its festive atmosphere. Fancy dress is optional but very much in keeping with the day. Registration opens at the Pie Hall at 9.30am, the race sets off at 11.00am, and runners return to the hall afterwards for refreshments and prize giving in the usual categories. Entry is capped at 300 places and closes at noon on Saturday 19 December, with no entries accepted on the day.
