The Trail des Pays de Monts returns for its 22nd edition on 6 and 7 March 2027, based at Stade Ernest Pajot on the avenue de la forêt in Saint Jean de Monts. Runners follow wooded paths through the Pays de Monts forest, passing landmarks such as the Davière dune, the Saint Jean de Monts golf course, the La Buzelière viewpoint, the Hippodrome de l'Atlantique and the Pey de la Blet. The ground mixes steep forest tracks, dune trails and a stretch of bridle path, and the route is fully marked with no orientation difficulty. The weekend also includes children's trails, timed and untimed nordic walks, a canitrail and canimarche, and a Saturday afternoon Challenge run of about 8 km whose time counts toward the Sunday 26 km. Bags can be left in a stadium cloakroom during the race, and the route may be adjusted slightly up to the last minute.

No. On-site registration is not possible for any of the races or walks, so please register in advance online.
You need to hold a valid FFA athletics licence or have completed a Parcours Prévention Santé (PPS) at most 3 months before the race. The PPS can be done at https://pps.athle.fr/. You can complete the rest of your registration file first and add these details afterwards.
The 2027 price list is not shown on the event page. The organisers have announced that prices will increase on 1 February, so entering before then is advisable. The 2026 tariffs and categories are available as a PDF on the event website.
Yes. A bag drop point is available at the stadium so you can leave a bag while you race.
The route is fully marked and there is no orientation difficulty. Please note that the route may change slightly at the last minute, so follow the marshals and markings on the day.
