The Trail Sud Touraine is a semi-night trail running festival in the south of the Indre-et-Loire, organised by the association Courir Marcher dans le Sud Touraine. Runners choose between a 12 km discovery trail, a 23 km short trail and a 46 km long trail that is also open to duos, while walkers take on a timed 11 km Nordic walking competition or an open 11 km hike. Most of the route runs through woodland and across meadows, and only the 46 km drops into the Claise valley, passing through Grand-Pressigny and Chaumussay before returning over the heights of Barrou. Every race starts at Barrou and finishes at Chambon, and coach shuttles carry runners from Chambon to the start.
