The Snows of Kirillov trail runs over snow-covered forest and open field tracks around Kirillov in the Vologda region, with the start set beside Lake Svyatoye. Seven distances are on offer, from a 500 m children's race through to a 48.4 km winter ultra, and the 5 km, 15 km, 30 km and 50 km courses are open to adult runners. The day continues after the finish with a concert programme, motocross and freestyle motocross displays, a field kitchen serving hot tea, a fair of local producers and an exhibition of off-road vehicles with test drives.
