Trail Red Night takes over the village of Panzoult in Indre-et-Loire on the evening of Saturday 9 January 2027. Two untimed trail routes are on the programme, a 30 kilometre line with options and a shorter 10 kilometre line, alongside a 10 kilometre randonnée for walkers. Everything is non-chronométré, so runners set their own pace on paths through the vineyards and woodland of the Vienne valley rather than chasing a clock. Being a January event, ground underfoot is likely to be soft and the day finishes in darkness, which is where the night theme comes from.

The event is scheduled for Saturday 9 January 2027 in Panzoult, in the Indre-et-Loire department of the Centre-Val de Loire region of France.
The name and the January date suggest a winter event, and January evenings in the Loire Valley arrive early. Come prepared for low light or full darkness with a head torch and reflective clothing, and check with the organiser whether a lamp is compulsory.
Panzoult and the surrounding Vienne valley villages have guesthouses and small hotels, and Tours offers a much wider choice of accommodation about half an hour away. Book early for a January weekend, as rural options are limited.
Yes. The 10 kilometre randonnée is a walking option on the same programme, ideal for friends or family who want to take part without running the trail routes.
No weather, cancellation or refund policy is shown on this listing. Winter events in the Loire Valley can be cold, wet or icy, so check the organiser's website in the days before the event for any changes to the programme.
