The Trail de l'Espoir takes place on Sunday 11 October 2026 in Dammartin-en-Serve, in the Yvelines department, and raises funds for research and support around cancers linked to smoke exposure among firefighters. Runners choose between a 24 km, 12 km or 8 km trail, while walkers take on 12 km or 8 km of nordic walking or an untimed 8 km leisure walk. Children aged 6 to 14 race over 3 km or 1.5 km from midday. Organised by the Association Sportive des Sapeurs-Pompiers des Yvelines, the day also brings stands, awareness spaces and first-aid demonstrations, with part of the profits going to the RIFS association and the Institut Gustave Roussy.
