Trail Monte Ponoig

Check-in typically takes place at the start area, Pl. Ermita, Polop de la Marina, on race morning. Arrive at least 1 hour before your race start to collect your bib and do final preparations.

The finish line is at the same location as the start. Expect a finisher medal, refreshments (fruit, drinks), and a festive atmosphere. Results are usually posted online shortly after the race.

Polop is about 60 km north of Valencia. By car, take the AP-7 or N-332. By public transport, take a bus from Valencia to Benidorm, then a local bus or taxi to Polop. The nearest airport is Valencia (VLC), with Alicante-Elche (ALC) also an option.

The course features steep climbs and technical trails. Include hill repeats and strength work in your training. Practice descending on rocky terrain. Since the race is in January, train in cool conditions. Aim for long runs on similar terrain to build endurance.
