The Trail du Mont Dardon brings trail runners to Gueugnon, a small town in the Saône-et-Loire department of Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, on Sunday 25 April 2027. The day offers four distances, 12 km, 18 km, 29 km and 59 km, all run on the trails that spread out from the town towards the Mont Dardon area of the Charolais hills. The 59 km Trailloux Team Challenge is the longest option and the 12 km Trail de la Pêcherette is the shortest and friendliest introduction to the event. The race is organised by CALG Gueugnon, and the organiser's website is the best place for the most recent information on routes, start times and entries.

Other questions
Yes. The longest distance is run as the Trailloux Team Challenge, so it is designed to be tackled by a team rather than only as a solo effort. Check with the organiser for the team composition rules.
Trail races in this region are normally fully marked with tape and arrows, with marshals at key junctions. The organiser will confirm the marking and any GPS requirements in the pre-race information.
Aid station details are not listed on this page. Trail races of this size typically provide water and light refreshments at one or more points, with fuller catering on the longer courses. The organiser's website will have the exact list.
Yes. Gueugnon is a small town and the start and finish area is an easy place for spectators to follow the racing. The longer courses pass through open countryside, so the start and finish is the practical place to watch.
A team is made up of 3 runners, regardless of gender. Each member takes on one of the 3 distances (12, 18 or 29 km). Each member can compete for the podium and prizes of the race they enter. Team ranking is calculated by adding up the places each member achieves in the overall classification of their race — the lowest total wins. Each female member reduces the team total by 10 points, i.e. -10, -20 or -30 points.
