The event is scheduled for Saturday 29 May 2027 in Beaucens, in the Hautes-Pyrénées department of the Occitanie region, France.

Three timed trail races are offered: 70 km, 45 km and 24 km. A non-timed walking route, the Randonnée Pédestre, is also listed for hikers. Confirm the final distance list with the organiser before entering, as courses occasionally change between editions.

The 24 km is the shortest of the timed options and the most realistic entry point, but the Hautacam massif means real climbing and mountain ground. If you have only run on roads, build some hill and off-road training into your preparation before signing up.

Argelès-Gazost, Lourdes, Pierrefitte-Nestalas and the surrounding valley villages all have accommodation within a short drive of Beaucens. Booking early is wise for a late May weekend, when the Pyrenees valley fills up with walkers and cyclists as well as runners.

Yes. Mountain trail events usually welcome supporters in the start and finish area, and there are often accessible viewpoints along the lower parts of the course. Because much of the route is on high ground, spectators should plan to base themselves in the village and follow any guidance the organiser gives on the day.
