The Trail do Falcão Real takes place in Alcoutim, in the Faro district of Portugal's eastern Algarve, on Sunday 13 December 2026. Runners pick between a 32 km long trail, a 17 km sprint trail and a 10 km mini trail, and a separate 10 km caminhada gives walkers their own place on the start line. The routes use the open country and river hills around the town, and the distances make the day work for first-time trail runners as well as for those chasing the longer course.
