The Trail des Verts takes over the Fontcouverte forests and the surrounding countryside in Charente-Maritime across the weekend of 27 and 28 March 2027. Four loops are laid out so that every level of runner can enjoy the pleasures, and the pains, of running in the open air. More than 80% of the routes run on forest singletrack, with views across Roman remains and long stretches on the celebrated GR4 long-distance path. A night race, a walking hike and races for children round out the programme.
