The route runs through the Finalese, the coastal playground of western Liguria where technical paths, limestone crags, caves and glimpses of the sea follow one after another. The ground underfoot is trail almost throughout, with rocky passages and singletrack typical of sky running beside the sea. Several courses are laid out so that runners of different levels can take part, and the day is framed as a short sporting journey through the history and culture of this old and celebrated territory. The 2027 edition is provisionally set for 28 February, based at Finalborgo in Finale Ligure.

Almost all of it is trail, with technical passages, limestone cliffs, caves and views out over the sea.
Chip timing, a finisher medal, a photo service, a race pack and aid stations along the course.
Yes. The trails of the Finalese have plenty of viewpoints over the cliffs and the sea where you can wait for runners, and the race rules point out the recommended spots.
Any decision to postpone, alter or cancel the race in difficult conditions is communicated by the organiser through the official website and social channels.
