The Trail da Escarpiada is a trail running event based in Condeixa-a-Nova, in the Coimbra district of central Portugal, and the 2026 edition falls on Saturday 21 November. Four options are on the programme: the Trail Longo over 31 kilometres, the Trail Curto over 16 kilometres, a 10 kilometre Mini Trail or Trail Sprint, and a 9 kilometre Caminhada that follows the same countryside on foot at walking pace. The routes run through the hills, tracks and rural paths around Condeixa-a-Nova, the small town just south of Coimbra. Runners can take on anything from a short introduction to trail running up to a full day out on the longer course.

The event is held in Condeixa-a-Nova, in the Coimbra district of central Portugal. The 2026 edition takes place on Saturday 21 November 2026.
The Caminhada is the 9 km walking option, the shortest and gentlest of the four routes. It covers the same countryside as the running courses but is meant to be completed on foot at walking pace.
The 9 km Caminhada and the 10 km Mini Trail are the shortest and most accessible options, while the 16 km Trail Curto suits runners who already have some off-road experience. The 31 km Trail Longo is the biggest commitment and is best saved for those used to long days on the trails.
The organiser decides whether to alter or cancel the event in poor conditions. Any weather or cancellation policy is published on the OMDC Eventos event page rather than on this listing.
