Together for Pink October

The event takes place in the park of the Château de Villers-Cotterêts, seat of the Cité internationale de la langue française, where runners and walkers come together to raise money for the Rose des Dames association in support of Octobre Rose. Three untimed events share the same start and finish area inside the castle grounds: a 6 km run over one loop, a 10 km run over two loops and a 5 km walk over one loop. There are no bibs and no chip timing, so the morning is about taking part together rather than racing the clock, and the whole of every entry fee goes to the charity. Each event is limited to 100 participants, welcome opens at 8.30, and everyone who takes part receives a t-shirt along with refreshments and a convivial recovery area at the finish. Parking is available on the Grand Bosquet car park, and online registration closes on Friday 16 October at midnight with no entries accepted on the day.
