The Thirlmere Wild Trail Runs take place on 21 November 2026, with trails running around Thirlmere Reservoir in the Lake District National Park. Runners choose between a half marathon and a 10 km, and both routes are well signed as they follow the paths beside the water and through the valley. The event base is Thirlmere Dam Triangle Car Park at Keswick CA12 4TG. Live chip timing comes from Timing Up North, and everyone who finishes collects an event medal, Wild Deer merchandise and a drink and snack. Parking details are sent to entrants closer to race day, and the 555 bus from Kendal to Keswick stops at Thirlmere near the event area.
