The Trail des Tranchées returns on 21 March 2027 with a new edition through the countryside around Verdun. The programme brings together four trail races of 14, 18, 32 and 55 km, a nordic walking event, the Mars'Up youth races over 1, 2.5 and 3.5 km, and a corporate challenge run over the 14 and 18 km routes. Runners set off in the Verdun area onto a mix of forest tracks, footpaths and the First World War memorial landscapes that give the event its name. Entries are handled through Protiming, and an official bib exchange is open for anyone who wants to pass on or pick up a place.
