The Winter Warmer Runs support Shelter and aim to raise awareness and funds for the charity. You can also choose to fundraise for other charities such as Alzheimer's Society, Cancer Research UK, Mind or WWF during the entry process.
The course is undulating and mainly on paths, with a few trail sections. It takes in canal towpaths, redways and park paths around Willen Lake. The 5k is one lap, the 10k is two laps and the half marathon is four laps with one extra section. The zig zags are the biggest climb on the route.
No. The event is designed to be all-inclusive and welcoming, with a 5k for anyone starting out, a 10k for more seasoned runners and a half marathon for those after a longer winter challenge.
