Flowing ridgelines, open downland, and hidden woodland tracks, climbing steadily towards Ditchling Beacon with views of the South Downs and English Channel.

Train to Falmer station (Southern Railway from London Victoria, ~1hr 20min), 5-10 min walk to start.

Aid stationsYes, there will be outposts with sweet and savoury snacks, fruit, gels, and electrolyte drink. The event is cup-free, so bring your own cup or bottle.

Before you enter

RefundsEntry fees are non-refundable under any circumstances. If the event is cancelled due to extreme weather, your entry will be transferred to a rescheduled date or another event in the series.

TransfersCan transfer to another race of equal or less value if notified on or before the Monday before the event (5 days prior). Cannot transfer out of a sold-out race unless 7 days notice.

DeferralsNot explicitly offered, but entries can be carried to another event if weather cancellation.

If the race is cancelledEntry fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.

Bad weatherIf cancelled due to extreme weather, entries transferred to rescheduled date or another event in the same series.

Minimum ageYes, junior entries (ages 17 and under) are available for all distances, but they must be accompanied by an adult throughout the run.
