The Maverick Brighton Trail Marathon is a 42 km off-road marathon starting from Stanmer Park, running across the South Downs National Park, and finishing on Hove Lawns after merging with the Brighton Marathon course.

Aid stations · 3Yes, there are three outposts at approximately 12 km, 22 km, and 37 km offering snacks, gels, and electrolyte drinks. Note that they do not provide pre-filled cups, so you must bring a reusable cup.

Minimum ageParticipants must be 18 years or older.

HeadphonesWe strongly recommend not wearing headphones, but if you do, we recommend bone conduction headphones.

Time limitYes, the overall cut-off is 6 hours 30 minutes. There are also cut-off times at the outposts: OP1 (12km) at 11:15, OP2 (22km) at 12:45, OP3 (37km) at 15:05. After OP3 cutoff, runners may continue on pavement.

Collecting your numberRace packs will be posted to UK addresses before 15 March. International runners and those who enter on/after 15 March can collect on Friday 2 April at Double Tree by Hilton Brighton (10:00-18:00) or Saturday 3 April at Preston Park (10:00-17:00).
