The Great Highnam Court Run takes place on 14 March 2027 at Highnam Court Cricket Ground (Church Field) in the village of Highnam, on the outskirts of Gloucester. Runners follow a scenic, mixed-terrain route through the private grounds of the Highnam Court estate, which are normally closed to the public, starting in Church Field, looping around Holy Innocents Churchyard and crossing open fields into landscaped gardens and parkland. The route passes alongside lakes and gardens, goes by the rose garden and then follows woodland paths with sculptures and ponds before the final stretch returns along a footpath to Church Field. The 5K covers one lap and the 10K covers two, over grass, paths and some uneven ground, with a water station roughly halfway through each lap. On arrival runners register to collect a race number and timing tag, there is a bag drop at the cricket pavilion, and toilets and changing facilities are available in nearby village halls. Food and drink vendors, first aiders and marshals are on site, all finishers receive a medal, a reusable cup and an official time, and trophies go to the top finishers and the top team. The event supports Highnam Court Cricket Club and local community facilities.
