Other questions
The Drop is a blindfolded navigation challenge where participants are taken to an unknown location and must find their way back to the event centre on foot without maps or GPS.
Participants wear blackout blindfolds or approved alternatives while on the bus to the drop point to ensure they do not know the location or direction.
No. All electronic devices, watches, and navigational aids are collected at registration and returned after the event. No maps are provided or allowed.
Optional live GPS tracking is available for safety. Trackers are accurate to about 5 metres and must be returned after the event. A fee may apply if not returned.
You must navigate back on foot. The event is a challenge; if you cannot find your way, you may open the emergency bag (which contains instructions?) but that likely results in disqualification. It is recommended to have basic navigation skills.
