The Compass Pointe 5K Race Against Hunger is the first running of a community 5K and walk through the scenic neighbourhoods of Compass Pointe in Leland, North Carolina, held in aid of Brunswick Family Assistance. Runners and walkers share the same flat, paved course and finish into a Post Race Festival with food from the Compass Pointe Culinary Club and live music.

Race Kick Off and Packet Pick Up is Friday, October 30, 2026 from 4:00-6:00 PM at The Compass Pointe Wellness Center. A last-chance packet pickup is on race day, Saturday, October 31, 2026, from 8:00 AM - 8:45 AM; no race packets will be distributed after 8:30 AM, so please plan accordingly. Packets may be picked up for friends and family; if picking up for more than 8 people, email [email protected] before 12:00 PM on Friday, October 31.
All registration is ONLINE, so please register before arriving at packet pickup or the race.
