The Tadcaster 10 is a fully closed road race run over ten miles on an accurately measured, undulating course through the town and the surrounding Yorkshire countryside. The route loops around Tadcaster centre before heading out east through the villages of Catterton, Healaugh and Wighill, with a drink station out on the course at around the five mile mark that serves a mixture of paper cups and plastic bottles. Race HQ sits at The Barn on St Joseph Street with the start line right outside, and there is no need to register on the day because race packs are posted out in advance. Finishers collect a custom Tad 10 medal along with some tasty treats, and the prize pot has topped £1,000 with big cash prizes for male and female age groups as well as bonuses for anyone breaking the course records.
