The SuperHeroes Run takes over G.R. Herberger Park in Phoenix with a themed, small-field event where 5K, 10K and half marathon runners set off in capped waves through the park. Waves go off at 7:30am, 8:00am and 8:30am, and coordinators stay on site for three hours after the first wave so late arrivals can simply join in. There are no timing chips: runners can track themselves on Strava, RunKeeper or a similar app and submit the result online, or ask a coordinator to time them. Bibs are handed out on the day, race shirts and medals ship to entrants beforehand, and the course map arrives by email in the final participant information the Wednesday before the race. The whole thing is built around a friendly, unhurried local atmosphere rather than a big city mass race.

After registering, use your confirmation number to reserve a wave through the online wave reservation form. Wave A starts at 7:30am, Wave B at 8:00am and Wave C at 8:30am. Each wave is capped and closes as soon as it fills.
Yes, last-minute entries are accepted, but shipping may not catch up in time and your shirt could arrive after race day. You can still come and run in whatever you like.
Final participant information, including course maps and all race day details, is emailed by the Wednesday before race day.
No. There is no packet pickup and no queuing. Your swag ships straight to your door and race bibs are handed out on race day.
The virtual option includes a digital training pack. Run your distance whenever and wherever you like, with any tracking device you choose, then send your result to [email protected] to claim your medal.
