The Straquasar takes place in the Umbrian town of Corciano on a Sunday morning in early November. Runners choose between a competitive 11 km race and a non-competitive version over the same distance, and a walking route of roughly 8 km, the Walking Quasar, runs alongside them for walkers, families and anyone who prefers to take the morning at an easier pace. Corciano sits a short drive west of Perugia, in countryside of rolling hills, olive groves and historic stone villages. Entries and the latest race-day details are handled through the organiser's online registration page.

The event is held in Corciano, a hill town in the Umbria region of central Italy, roughly 10 to 15 km west of Perugia. The start and finish area sits in the town itself, and the organiser's registration page gives the precise meeting point and any last-minute changes.
Both routes cover the same 11 km distance. The Competitiva is the timed, competitive race, so results are ranked, while the Non Competitiva is an untimed run for people who want to take part without racing. Whichever you pick, you cover the same ground on the same morning.
November mornings in Umbria can be cold, wet and foggy, but road races here usually go ahead in poor weather. Keep an eye on the organiser's website and social channels for any last-minute announcements, and dress in layers you can adjust as you warm up.
