Stadtpark-Cross Reichenbach is a cross country running event staged in the Stadtpark of Reichenbach im Vogtland in Saxony, Germany, on Saturday 31 October 2026. The headline race covers 6 kilometres over parkland grass and paths, and the day is divided into a series of heats so that runners compete against their own age group, from the under-8s through the youth categories to the U18/U20, women's and senior men's races. An autumn date in the Vogtland means soft, natural ground and a low-key, club-centred atmosphere, and the organiser's notice on LADV carries the entry fees, timings and any last-minute changes.

The race takes place in the Stadtpark in Reichenbach im Vogtland, in the Saxony region of Germany. The park sits close to the centre of town, which makes it easy to reach on foot from the surrounding streets.
Cross country spikes or trail shoes with a reasonable grip work well on the parkland grass. Road shoes are workable in dry conditions but offer much less traction once the ground softens. Bring a spare pair of shoes and socks for afterwards.
Yes. The Stadtpark is an open public space, so friends and family can move around the course and watch from the paths and lawns without needing a ticket. Several points along the route usually allow you to see runners more than once.
Cross country races are usually held in wet weather, and soft ground is part of the sport. In the rare case of a serious weather warning or unsafe conditions, the organiser publishes a decision on the LADV event page, so check it on race morning.
Cross country events of this size normally have first aid cover and marshals on the course, and the Stadtpark is close to the town centre for a quick response if needed. The organiser's notice confirms the arrangements for the day.
