St Piran's Revenge is a 10 kilometre trail race held at Perranporth on the Cornwall coast in mid-December. The course crosses the beach, the dunes and the coastal path, and the new route for this edition adds more dunes and more ascent, taking runners over 1,000 feet with a mix of fast descents and demanding climbs. The dunes are a Site of Special Scientific Interest and a Special Area of Conservation, so runners must keep to the marked route at all times. It is a cupless event with no water on the course, so competitors carry a bottle or hydration pack and take refreshments at the finish. Race HQ is at Perranporth Surf Lifesaving Club, with food and drink available before and after the race at the Watering Hole pub and the Surf Club.

No. There are no entries on the day, so you must sign up in advance through the online entry system.
Yes. Entries are available to a maximum of 300 runners.
The organisers recommend carrying a hydration pack or a bottle, since no water is provided on the route. Dress for a coastal December race on sand, dunes and path.
No. You must keep to the designated course route because the dunes are a Special Site of Scientific Interest and a Special Area of Conservation. The race has consent from Natural England and permissions from local land owners.
Take any litter home with you or put it in the bins on the beach. Littering will result in disqualification.
