The course starts at the Water Dam at Czorsztyn Lake in Niedzica and finishes on Dietl Square in Szczawnica, linking five mountain ranges in one continuous journey. Runners set out with snow-covered Tatra peaks in view and easy trails through the Spisz region, where endless meadows and pasturelands stretch out. Once the sun goes down the route enters the Gorce mountains, bringing steady ups and downs over rougher ground, before the forests and wild nature of the Beskidy mountains and a final section across the Little Pieniny mountains. Aid stations are spread along the route, and the race is governed by a strict cut-off schedule, with the finish closing at 31 hours.
