The race runs through the Serra da Mantiqueira around the Instituto Alto Montana, a property on the BR 354 between kilometres 768 and 769 in Itamonte, Minas Gerais. Entrants pick one of three distances, 6.5km, 12km or 21km, and can take part solo or as a mixed or women's pair. Every distance sets off together at 07:00 on 29 November 2026. Ground underfoot is mountain trail, and the organisers describe the courses as demanding, with sweeping views over the range. Chip timing, a personalised medal, a race bib, hydration and fruit come with every entry, while a technical shirt, mid-calf socks or a cap are added depending on the kit chosen. Entries are limited.
