This guided 10km trail run starts and finishes at the iconic Silent Pool in the Surrey Hills. Runners explore sections of the North Downs Way and woodland trails at Netley Heath, passing through the charming village of Shere, famous for its film locations. The route combines wide, chatty trails with fun singletrack, making it a perfect introduction to trail running. After the run, participants can enjoy a complimentary alcohol-free beer from Athletic Brewing Company.

No, this is a guided group trail run, not a race. The pace is social and the group stays together.
You should be able to comfortably run an average pace of 10 min/mile (6 min/km) for prolonged periods on the trail.
In darker months the run takes place by headtorch under the stars, which is a stunning experience. Silva head torches are available to trial.
A free alcohol-free beer from Athletic Brewing Company is provided at the finish, subject to availability.
