This is the fifth edition of an autumn run and walk through the nature areas around Berkenbos and over the former mine spoil tips of Heusden-Zolder. The route is around 85% unpaved and participants choose between 6, 10, 16 and 21 kilometres, with the 6 km option staying off the mijnterrils. All proceeds go to charity, supporting underprivileged young people, so there are no race numbers, no chip timing and no medals. Changing rooms, showers and a post-run refreshment are available, walkers set off from the same start, and dogs are welcome on a leash.
