Sepsi Inst. Run is an urban run of roughly 6 km that starts and finishes at the Muzeul Comunismului „Steaua Roșie” on Strada Tutunului 1 in Sfântu Gheorghe. The route runs on city streets and pavements and weaves past factories, school corridors, former grocery shops and other places that carry the mark of the years before 1989, so the town itself becomes part of the story. Nothing is chip-timed and there is no classic ranking; runners set off together in the afternoon and the first three across the line still receive prizes. A quiz along the course and a prize draw round off the relaxed, group-oriented day, and under-18s are welcome on a separate entry fee.
