The 4th Annual Semper Fi Strides sends runners and walkers out from the West Village Town Square in Scott, Louisiana on a flat, paved route through the town square area. The morning starts with the 1 Mile Fun Run at 8:00 AM and the 5K Run at 8:30 AM, with a 1 Mile Walk also on the programme for those who prefer to take it at an easier pace. Every finisher collects a medal, and the finish area keeps the atmosphere going with food, fun and a celebratory photo booth. The day raises funds for the Marine Corps League Acadiana Detachment 488, so each stride supports a good cause.
