Parking · FreeYes, free parking is available at Musselburgh Racecourse.

Public transportA sweeper bus follows the race at 1 hour 45 minute pace. If you are passed by the sweep bus, you will be asked to get onto the bus which will transport you back to the finish area. If you choose not to board the bus, you will be removed from the race and recorded as DNF (Did Not Finish).

AccessibilityYes, entries from wheelchair and handbike users are welcome. There are no separate races - participants will be included within the mass field. Participants must be self-propelled for the entire race (electric wheelchairs and individuals being pushed are not permitted).

ShowersYes, the event provides changing facilities and showers.

Bag dropYes, free baggage trucks transport belongings from start to finish. Baggage tag sent with event number must be attached to bag before event.

Water on courseYes, water backpacks and hydration vests are allowed. For medical reasons, bags may be subject to security search. Encouraged to use baggage service when possible.

Before you enter

RefundsEntry fees non-refundable. Bus and parking tickets non-refundable. Merchandise refunds within 15 days if unused with original tags.

TransfersSome events have a transfer option. Process: 1) Find replacement runner, 2) Arrange payment directly, 3) Use 'Manage My Entry' in MyRunning to transfer, 4) New runner pays £20 transfer fee. Transfers must be completed before the transfer deadline.

DeferralsEntry fees cannot be deferred to future events.

If the race is cancelledEntry fees are non-refundable if you withdraw. Event may be cancelled due to unsafe weather conditions.

Bad weatherEvent continues unless unsafe weather conditions. In case of cancellation, communication via email/text. Participants should plan for forecast weather appropriately.

Minimum ageParticipants must be aged 15 and over.

Time limitThe event has a strict maximum cut-off time of 1 hour 30 minutes from when the back of the race crosses the start line. Participants who do not complete the course within this time will not be permitted to finish and will not receive a result.

Yes, the course is traffic-free.

The event is committed to minimising environmental impact through: online entries and information rather than paper, encouraging public transport, communication with residents about road closures, reducing noise pollution, recycling waste, and donating unused food to food banks.

You can withdraw via 'Manage My Entry' in your MyRunning account. Entry fees are non-refundable. If you have a charity entry, contact your charity to withdraw.

Event continues unless unsafe conditions. If cancelled, participants notified via email/text. Plan for forecast weather with appropriate clothing and protection.
