Overview

São Silvestre dos Olivais is Lisbon's oldest São Silvestre race, held in the Olivais neighbourhood on the evening of 30 December. It is organised by the Parish Council of Olivais with Ingleses Futebol Clube and supported by Lisbon City Council and Xistarca. The 10 km race is run entirely on flat, closed city roads, starting outside the parish council building and finishing at GO FIT Olivais after a tour of the neighbourhood's streets. A 4 km walk and a set of age-graded children's races share the same evening, and the whole event is known for its local atmosphere and busy roadside crowds.

Departure in front of the Olivais Parish Council, left onto Sargento Armando Monteiro Ferreira Street, straight ahead onto Alferes Barrilaro Streets, right onto General Silva Freire Street, right onto 1º Cabo José Martins Silvestre Street, return halfway along 1º Cabo José Martins Silvestre Street, right onto Vice-Almirante Augusto de Castro Guedes Street, first exit on the right at the roundabout onto Av. Dr. Alfredo Bensaúde, first exit on the right at the roundabout onto Furriel João Nunes Redondo Street, left onto Sargento Armando Monteiro Ferreira Street, second exit at the roundabout onto Contra-Almirante Armando Ferraz Street, third exit at the roundabout onto Av. De Berlim, right onto Av. Infante D. Henrique, right onto Av. De Pádua, left onto Almada Negreiros Street, right onto Luanda City Avenue, left onto Nova Lisboa City Street, straight ahead onto Luso City Square, straight ahead onto Moçâmedes City Street, right onto Bissau City Street, right onto Lourenço Marques City Avenue, right onto Berlin Avenue, finish at GO FIT Olivais.

Race Day

Tuesday 29 December: bib collection at the event venue from 2pm to 8pm. Wednesday 30 December: bib collection from 10am to 8pm, children's races from 7pm, 10 km at 9pm and the 4 km walk at 9:10pm.

Before you enter

RefundsNo refunds are offered. Registrations made through the platform can be cancelled for a full refund within 24 hours of booking if the entrant changes their mind.

If the race is cancelledThe published policy is a no-refund policy, so entries are not refunded if the race cannot go ahead.

Minimum ageYes. The 10 km race is open to entrants aged 18 and over, while the children's races are for runners up to 17 years old, split by year of birth.

Collecting your numberBib collection takes place on Tuesday 29 December between 2pm and 8pm, and on Wednesday 30 December between 10am and 8pm.
