A festive trail run held at Cammo Nature Reserve in north-west Edinburgh welcomes runners of all ages to choose between 10K, 5K, and 1K distances. The scenic course follows riverside paths, crosses open fields, and passes historic landmarks, featuring narrow paths, steps, and small wooden bridges. Depending on recent weather, trails may be muddy or frosty, so participants are advised to wear trail shoes with good grip. Every finisher receives a medal and is rewarded with hot chocolate and cookies while supporting charities such as Young Lives vs Cancer and the Edinburgh Food Project.
